I don’t intend to post anything there, I still don’t know why I suddenly got the ban lifted. Plus I went through all the trouble of getting this setup and am much happier here anyway 
It costs as much as a couple of AAA games each month to declare my independence from Steam, but I am lucky to have Patrons to subsidize that. Much healthier head space here away from the trolls.
Speaking of hosting …
Your average smartphone is more powerful than the dinky little Virtual Machine this server runs in 1 CPU core @ 2.2 GHz, 1 GiB of RAM and 15 GiB of disk. Makes me want to go build a rack of “obsolete” smartphones and lease out CPU time on them; this is a very sound investment 
And Kaldaien is somehow relevant in this argument between two random people to earn a ban?
Steam moderation has gone full on Minority Report. Banning me before I could even reply to a conversation in a thread I wasn’t even posting in. The threat was too much, pre-emptive ban FTW.
On a serious note, this is the level of stupidity that goes on. You request Steam Support to remove this ban because it’s completely invalid and they say “we looked at it, it’s valid” and then you wait around for enough of these to accumulate to get a long-term ban.
Don’t tell the global moderators this though, they insist that all bans are investigated

Anyone bought Horizon Zero Dawn and on what platform? Steam or Epic Game Stores? I am tempted to get it and I hear its a great game on PS4 and I usually love Sony’s Exclusives.
@Kaldaien, based on the logs the search issue seems to be related to the Babble plugin. I’ve tried disabling it through the settings but the error is still thrown, so I imagine the site needs to be rebuilt for the change to have an effect. Can you try that as well?
Hey Death. I’ve gotten it on the EGS, shortly after the Steam price hike episode, so I secured my copy for a little cheaper before Sony raised prices there too. I won’t say the game runs absolutely fantastic, but it’s not the doomsday scenario that the media was painting it to be.
I’m averaging 38-40 fps or sso with my Radeon VII on 4K Ultimate quality preset with HDR rendering enabled, so it should run at 60 fps on a RTX 2070 Super/RX 5700 or similar at 1440p SDR just fine. I am probably going to be playing at 1080p Ultimate with HDR here.

This probably should have been delayed a few months.
It was stated in news that shader compilation was broken.
