There should be some kind of indication of the correct behavior when we launch the SKIF for the 1st time. And some kind of warning if we use it to launch a game.

I’ve created a thread over on suggestions to track the presence of a warning:

[SKIF] Add warning about global injection not running when launching a game

It seems that the ability to launch games through SKIF can cause user confusion as the expectation is that launching through SKIF means Special K will be injected into the game. I suggest adding a warning prompt when trying to launch a game through SKIF where SKIF have determined global injection is being used but the global injection service is not detected as running. The prompt would then provide an easy way to enable global injection: You are launching a game without the global injection …

The “indicator” is typically the Special K banner itself, however… well… DX12 is unsupported so

A sound indicator could also be used and be universal, but I imagine most users would find it annoying.
