Shenume 1/2 HDR?

So I may play this soon, and was looking at some mods, for visuals, I see a good amount of mods need special k in this game though. One mod specifically linked to this.

Would I need this one for shenmue to play nice? or can I play an HDR version of special k and have the game still behave?

Those Shenmue fixes is probably integrated in the main Special K project.

Try it and see what works, basically.
