PS - Luckily this 35s video didn’t end up as a Short video. I really don’t like YouTube Shorts. This video is Unlisted by the way. Not public.
Special K lets the mouse cursor move to the outer edges of the windowed game’s borders. This allows the game window ti be accidentally moved while gaming. In my video example, I was on the main menu so it did a poor job of demonstrating the mishaps while gaming. But while in the game, even though it shows the mousehair of the weapon in the center of the screen, the hidden mouse cursor will often move up to the top of the screen and drag the game window around when I am trying to game. This happens way too often. Dozens of times in a gaming session. Just one time during a gaming session is bad enough.
DisplayLock locks the mouse cursor into the inner edges of the windowed game’s borders. This prevents the mouse cursor from reaching the title bar wand prevents the game window from accidentally being moved while playing.
I am hoping for the option to confine the mouse cursor to the inner edges of the windowed game’s borders. For those who prefer having the mouse cursor only confined to the outer edges, they should be able to have and keep that option too.
The reason that I don’t want to use DisplayLock is because it uses up CPU, is a bit buggy and unreliable, and I am already using SpecialK to force resize the game window so I might as well use the mouse lock feature inside the SK dll too.
PS - Sven Co-op is a free game so you are welcome to try using the SK mouse lock feature. After gaming for a while, you will accidentally mouse the invisible mouse cursor to the top edge of the screen and your game window will move as a result.
