It’s been reported the Special K works with Halo MCC using the Global Injector and running the game with EAC disabled.
What I’m doing is opening Special K (latest release as of this posting) and starting up the global injectors. I then try to start MCC from Steam and select the option with EAC disabled. From here I’m permanently stuck on the splash screen with no further activity from the exe.
Do you have any logs? I don’t own that game, so I’m going to need to see logs to figure this out.

I believe this is caused by the Steam Overlay. Turning it off or using this version of SK will probably fix the problem.

I am using the latest version of Special K and it is working for me, even with the steam overlay enabled.
