I don’t know why it crashes but here’s the crash log. I did all the troubleshooting but I don’t know what is wrong.
works fine on my end. you may have some mod or something else running causing a conflict…
and what version of the game are you running ? unx works with the official steam version of the game.
you may want to verify the integrity of the game’s files through the steam client, or uninstall the game, then delete the game’s folder if it’s still there, and then reinstall the game from the steam client.
you may also want to make sure you install unx using the SpecialK_UnX.exe installer from the sk wiki.
if you’re running the microsoft store version of ff10, you could try a modern/recent version of special k (it won’t have the unx game-specific features for this game though, which were designed for the official steam version of the game…)
beyond that, some apps known to interfere or cause a conflict with sk/unx are nzxt cam, rivatuner/rtss (in the case of rtss, you could try closing rtss before launching the game or setting rtss to “use microsoft detours api hooking” in rtss’s settings under setup → general), razer synapse, medal, overwolf’s overlay…
so if your game is crashing, or you can’t open sk’s overlay, or you having some problem with sk, you may want to see if you have one of those tools i just mentioned or similar running
or if you have some other mod installed in the game’s folder… that could possibly cause a conflict with sk.
