Every time I click CTRL + Shift + Backspace, instead of the menu appearing, a sound is heard then the game stops. Because of it, i’m unable to install some mods for Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Is there anyway to fix this?
keep in mind you need to run the game in d3d11 to be able to inject more than one texture mod with sk’s dxgi texture injection system… and shadow of the tomb raider is known to perform better in d3d12…
that said, special k worked just fine with this game when i tried it. your game could be crashing for a number of reasons. i’d make sure to be using a legitimate version of the game and remove any other mods that may have been installed for the game and test again. beyond that, other third-party tools could be causing a conflict – some apps known to interfere with sk are nzxt cam, rivatuner/rtss, razer synapse, anti-virus…
