When I try playing Wolfenstein The New Order with SKIF the game shows a black screen with expected audio but also has a small square in the bottom left corner showing game pixels. This is an OpenGL game.
Also OpenGL doesn’t seem to have access to texture modding, is this planned for a future version of Special K?
No, OpenGL texture modding will never be supported.
Also, SKIF is just a launcher.
The reason it’s a black screen is probably because you have NVIDIA’s Layered DXGI SwapChain feature turned on and SK already does that for OpenGL games (higher performance than NVIDIA’s driver feature too).
I have an AMD GPU, is that something I should turn off or is it not applicable to me?
